He told me it had suddenly appeared after he woke up this morning, and it is extremely itchy. Does anyone have an idea what might have caused this? Should I be concerned? The mark looks like a distinct scar from a surgical incision, complete with visible stitching marks. It seems well healed now but has some raised tissue.
