In the early 2010s, she was one of the most vocal advocates for artists receiving fair compensation from streaming and for those streams to be accurately reflected on the Billboard charts. Now, 14 years later, her 2012 collaboration with Justin Bieber, “Beauty And A Beat,” is finally being recognized for its streaming success, validating the fight she led years ago.
