A senior engineer at Anthropic has released an 11-page PDF focused on loop engineering. The key idea is to stop prompting the agent and instead build the system that does the prompting. The autonomous loop includes a "Discover" phase where the system finds its own work (such as failing CI or open issues) and an "Isolate" phase that uses a separate git repository.
