Steve Rogers is in for a rough ride in AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY. Chris Evans calls the arc “brutal and a really good examination into his nature and his values.” He’s also pretty sure the Russos just enjoy putting Cap through the wringer, “Their favourite thing to do is to just beat the crap out of him.”
