The US Box Office distributors race in 2026 just became the fastest Post-Covid to blow past 6.5 billion dollars, up 5% over 2023 and a massive 17.6% over 2025 at the same point. Summer alone hit 4 billion, and you already know SpiderManBrandNewDay carried that. YTD top 5: Universal leads with 1.27B, Disney at 1.03B, Sony with 842.9M, Amazon MGM at 557.3M, and Lionsgate rounding it out with 497.9M.
