Mourinho on Casillas spoiled

José Mourinho looked back at his tenure with Iker Casillas and described a pattern of requests for special treatment. During their first three conversations, Casillas immediately asked for additional days off for national team duties. On another occasion, the goalkeeper requested that training start one hour later to avoid heavy traffic congestion in Madrid at the scheduled time. Casillas also stated that the squad preferred to skip the hotel stay entirely, opting instead to meet on match day and head straight to the stadium for the game. Mourinho said it took only a short time for him to realize that the players were spoiled.
