Nikki Storm Nikki A.S.H origin

Nikki Cross calls the Nikki A.S.H persona her own brainchild. She explains that her tag team run with Alexa Bliss was ending because Bliss had more commitments with Bray Wyatt. Cross recognized the partnership was finishing and faced a period without any storyline involvement. Needing a new direction, she turned to her lifelong love of superheroes. Cross identifies as the biggest fan of Hurricane Helms and a huge fan of Mighty Molly. Her passion for the genre started with watching the X-Men cartoon while growing up in the 1990s. Sixteen years ago at SWA in Glasgow, she brainstormed superhero names for herself. Rogue was her favorite character, so she initially considered the name Nikki Rogue. Other ideas included Nikki Starr and Nicky Sparkle, though she is glad those were not chosen. She selected Nikki Storm because X-Men were her primary superheroes. Beyond mutants, Cross has always loved Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and Batman. She remains deeply into that genre across movies and television shows. She notes she is watching The Flash.
