This distinction is specific because it is not the tallest or widest tree in the world. The trunk rises about 275 feet (83 meters) into the air. At its base, the diameter stretches over 36 feet (11 meters). These proportions create a total volume of more than 52,000 cubic feet. Scientists estimate the age to be around 2,000 to 2,500 years old. That means it was already standing long before many ancient civilizations rose and fell.
