The synopsis for Bad Idea is finally out and it centers on Ivy Di Laurentis, a student at Briar University who spent her first year as the most notorious punching bag of the dance program. Her plan for the second year is simple: keep her head down, survive the campus, and move on to New York to restart the ballet career she gave up. She has no interest in hockey players, romantic entanglements, or AJ Connelly, who happens to be her brother's ex-best friend and the certified golden boy she would never expect to find crying on a rooftop at two in the morning. AJ is dealing with his own chaos where his best friendships are falling apart and his hockey season is a mess. His strategy was just to drink until he forgets his feelings and hook up with anyone who isn't emotionally complicated since Ivy is too familiar and too vulnerable. Yet she is also funny, sweet, incredibly beautiful, and obsessed with someone other than him. When she proposes that he give her experience he cannot say no because there is something dangerously satisfying about sleeping with his ex-best friend's younger sister.
