Practical Magic 2 Tomatometer 34%

2026 has been tough for WB, which just lifted full review embargo for spooky dark comedy PracticalMagic2 and oh boy… critics refuse once again to be bewitched by the franchise starring SandraBullock & NicoleKidman. Still early days, but only 34% out of 32 critics so far (vs PracticalMagic’s 30%) allowed themselves to be charmed by the sequel, as the majority call the sequel a flawed follow up which fails to address or fix the flaws that also plagued the original film, victim of a even messier script than the first, although most say the main characters remain as charismatic and full of chemistry as they were 3 decades ago. PracticalMagic2 debuts this FRI, with traditional previews on THU.
