Houthis claim victory in Yemen campaign

The Houthis have declared victory following a two-week military campaign, asserting they expelled Saudi reinforcements from Taiz and Hodeidah in southwestern Yemen. They state control over six districts covering 5,400 square kilometers has been secured. The group claims hundreds of fighters backed by Saudi Arabia were killed, wounded, or captured while seven divisions faced impact. Prisoners were reportedly released and nine aircraft downed during the operations. Maritime traffic remains open for all parties except those on Saudi ships, with the blockade maintained against Saudi vessels until their own siege is lifted.
