David Beckham and Leo Messi Inter Miami

David Beckham remembers an early morning in Japan that he will never forget, a moment that changed Inter Miami CF history forever. His phone wouldn't stop ringing at 5 a.m. while they were sleeping. Victoria told him to turn it off so they could keep sleeping. But when he put on his glasses and read the message, his skin immediately went goosebumpy. He sat up abruptly in bed and started crying. Victoria asked if someone had died because of his reaction. The message stated Leo Messi decided to sign for Inter Miami. Beckham called Jorge Mas and instructed him to go to the airport immediately. He told Mas to ensure he was there when Messi arrived, joking about the possibility of Messi's brother arriving instead. He told Mas that the player is Leo Messi and described him as the best soccer player in history.
