Tanzanian troops entering #Burundi

Troops from Tanzania reportedly crossed into Burundi through the Kagunga border post before heading toward Nyanza-Lac. Once there, they allegedly swapped their Tanzanian uniforms for Burundian ones and joined local units. Some of these soldiers ended up at Luvungi in the Ruzizi plain within the Itara groupement, while others made it to Rugombo in Cibitoke province by September 15 near the border with Rwanda.
