Gvardiol visits Modric childhood home

There's a stone house in Croatia that Luka Modrić once called home, and it doesn't stand anymore. The 1991 war took it, and the Modrić family had to pack up and start over somewhere else. Joško Gvardiol went back to that spot and hung a Croatia national team jersey on the door, one that Modrić himself had worn. Not a photo op, not a caption for clout. Just a compatriot paying respects to a role model and the man who became one of the biggest legends Croatian football has ever produced. Some things sit heavier than any trophy. #LukaModric
