Messi retired at 39. Zidane and Ronaldo Nazário both stopped at 34. Ronaldinho went at 37, Maradona announced his at 37, and Pelé left Brazil's game at 36. That's the whole goodbye list, basically. Meanwhile CRISTIANO RONALDO is 41 years old and still hasn't given any indication he intends to retire. At some point you have to ask what CR7 is actually chasing here, because every other legend on this list already answered that question for themselves.
