Vertical Limit 2000 K2 Climbers

How far would you go to save someone you love? That's the question haunting Vertical Limit, a 2000 survival action thriller directed by Martin Campbell. Peter Garrett (Chris O'Donnell) carries the weight of an impossible choice where cutting the rope meant his father's death. Years later, he reunites with his sister Annie (Robin Tunney) as climbers on K2, only for her to get trapped high up the mountain. Peter launches a rescue mission battling oxygen depletion, dropping temperatures, and a massive avalanche while fighting against altitude, time, nature, and betrayal. The cast brings this story to life with Chris O'Donnell, Robin Tunney, Bill Paxton, Scott Glenn, and Izabella Scorupco. It is a cinematic struggle that tests every limit of human endurance 🍿
