A fresh Senate probe suggests Iran may have bypassed U.S. sanctions using Tether's USDT as a digital dollar within its shadow financial system. The investigation reviewed 846 crypto wallets sanctioned for connections to Iran and found that 84% of them transacted exclusively or nearly exclusively in USDT.
