The world champion badge Argentina wore since December 18, 2022 is gone. Spain now holds that title. The Albiceleste returned to the pitch without it for the first time in years. Instead they sported the Champion of America crest after winning Copa América 2024. It marks a real shift in status. The era of holding both titles has ended.
