Karl-Anthony Towns Knicks extension talks

Karl-Anthony Towns says he wants to stay with the Knicks and work for a team that values him, but he notes neither condition is close to being met. New York has extended an offer valued at approximately $200 million to Karl-Anthony Towns, even though the maximum contract value available to Karl-Anthony Towns is four years totaling $276 million. Simply put, I want to do something to keep the team together and can work with the Knicks and also values me. And none of those things are close to happening.
