John Cena praises Cody Rhodes Street Fighter Guile cosplay

John Cena is speaking up for Cody Rhodes after seeing him hit a Street Fighter press event in full Guile gear. The wrestler says he champions Cody for leaning into the part even if folks don't immediately recall the character from the game. Maybe the costume just hits different and brings back some nostalgia to see someone dressed as Guile from Street Fighter again. He's giving respect to the bravery it takes to take a moment that could be all about himself and realize it's larger than that. The goal here is making sure people enjoy the movie and know your character when they see it. Whether John Cena as Peacemaker was where the idea came from or not, he says he's very proud of the choice and thinks it's a great decision for the film.
