FBI seal Edward Lee Frith arrest

Edward Lee Frith, a 29-year-old from Fairhope, Alabama, known online as WagesOfNinja, asked if the FBI would visit his home and stated he would shoot them. On September 20, Epic Games provided the FBI with voice recordings where Frith discussed murdering someone, killing a police officer if arrested, and committing suicide. FBI agents visited Frith's location and arrested him on September 23. Frith faces charges of interstate threatening communications after entering a not guilty plea, remaining detained pending a trial scheduled for December. The account associated with Frith had been accessed more than 1,700 times. While it seems Frith took his comments too far, the situation prompts questions about what children say on the platform.
