Hidden Figures

🎬📺Hidden Figures(2017)❤️🔥 4.5/5 ⭐ Three Black women in the 1960s solved multivariable calculus with a pencil and paper while white guys in suits panicked about a glowing circle in the sky. NASA didn’t just launch John Glenn into space; Katherine Johnson personally carried the math department on her back. Iconic behavior. Hidden Figures is lowkey a horror movie about administrative inefficiency. Imagine having to sprint half a mile across a campus in high heels just to use the bathroom while the entire space race hangs in the balance. The urge to yell "GO OFF" in the theater when Kevin Costner took a crowbar to that segregated bathroom sign. That scene alone holds the record for most therapeutic piece of metalwork ever filmed. Dorothy Vaughan looking at a massive, non-functional IBM supercomputer, saying "I’ll handle it," and teaching herself FORTRAN from a stolen library book is the ultimate engineer flex. Modern devs could never. ⭐Synopsis: During the 1960s space race, three brilliant African American mathematicians at NASA, Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson, overcome pervasive racism and sexism to calculate pivotal flight trajectories, spearhead computing, and pave the way for astronaut John Glenn’s historic orbit around Earth.
