The regional government has put the toll at 16 dead and 546 unaccounted for as of 6 p.m. Saturday, all stemming from the August 26 landslide that slammed into Gyirong Port on the China-Nepal border in Xizang Autonomous Region. That's a massive number still hanging in the balance, and the situation there remains grim.
