China spy agency crypto warning
You might think crypto keeps you invisible but China's Ministry of State Security says that anonymity is just an illusion. They warn foreign intelligence actually uses this misconception to recruit citizens as spies because every single transaction creates a permanent record. Even switching between cash and cryptocurrency makes it way too easy to figure out who owns a wallet. That specific privacy mess is what the project Midnight aims to resolve. The system allows payment validation without disclosing the payer or the amount while letting users control exactly which data they share and with whom. Controlling data sharing may allow users to assign value to their information once someone else has to pay for access. #China
