Netanyahu meets Yaniv Hayoun

Yaniv Hayoun, a plumber with no aviation or military background, met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after intervening in a Flydubai cockpit attack. Wearing a shirt stained with blood, Hayoun described placing the attacker in a chokehold and pulling the aircraft controls backward. He told Netanyahu that without his actions, the incident could have been another 9/11. When asked how he knew to pull the controls back, Hayoun credited air accident investigation programs on television. Reports indicate he has never worked in aviation or the military, yet those TV shows gave him the specific knowledge needed during the crisis.
