A Gulfstream G100 serving as a medical air ambulance is the aircraft the U.S. Coast Guard is hunting for south of Nantucket, after it went missing overnight on a run from Bermuda to Boston. Six people were aboard. The FAA lost contact early today once the plane dropped altitude fast, and nobody has said why yet. Planes, a helicopter and boats are all part of the search. Breaking just moments ago, the U.S. Coast Guard announcing it has launched a search for a missing Boston-bound plane off the coast of Nantucket. The Coast Guard saying the FAA lost contact with the aircraft traveling from Bermuda early Saturday morning. The plane had six people on board.
