E-40

続いて『Tha Hall of Game』（1996年）、『The Element of Surprise』（1998年）をリリースし、西海岸ラップでの地位を確立した。

E-40 currently holds no placement in the published iFANN Global Top 1,000 rankings or any scope-specific top lists. While the iFANN Global Fame Engine has evaluated his standing as of August 2026, he does not currently occupy a numbered slot among the world's most famous figures. This absence from the ranked list reflects the unique nature of his career rather than a lack of influence; he remains a titan whose fame is deeply rooted in regional dominance and industry longevity rather than current viral spikes. The collective following for E-40 operates without a formal, singular name. Instead, his audience is a convergence of decades-long supporters who have tracked his solo output and his supergroup endeavors. This fanbase identifies strongly with the legacy of West Coast hip-hop, viewing E-40 not just as an artist but as a cultural architect. When E-40 collaborates with peers like Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, and Too Short under the banner of Mount Westmore, their shared fans merge into a powerful force that treats these reunions as historic events. The group's mythology centers on their formation during the pandemic, a story fans retell as a moment when four distinct eras of California rap finally aligned. Viral moments, such as the sci-fi visual for "Big Subwoofer" featuring a dog in a space suit, have become recurring rituals within this community, sparking endless discussion and memes. Fans also celebrate the linguistic inventiveness of the group, adopting E-40's slang directly from interviews and lyrics to create an inside language that reinforces their connection to the Bay Area sound. There are no official fan clubs or structured campaigns for the supergroup itself; the organization is entirely organic, driven by the sheer cultural weight of the members involved.[編集]

E-40 is credited with coining or popularizing over 100 slang terms, including "bobby brown" (a term for a urine test), "fo shizzle" (later adopted by Snoop Dogg), and "yadadamean." He played college basketball at Grambling State University on scholarship before turning to music full-time. His wine brand Mangoscato, a sweet red wine launched in 2014, became a top seller in its category, moving over 100,000 cases annually. He made a memorable cameo as a radio DJ in the video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and his signature ad-lib "E-40!" has been sampled repeatedly by other artists across genres. A central legend surrounding his recent work involves the formation of Mount Westmore during the COVID-19 pandemic, where four titans, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40, and Too $hort, reunited while isolated, creating a narrative described by insiders as feeling "like being a kid again." This collaboration culminated in a surreal live debut that major outlets called a historic moment for hip-hop culture. Another iconic piece of lore emerged with the "Big Subwoofer" music video, which depicted the group piloting a spaceship with a dog in a space suit, becoming a defining visual meme for the project. More recently, the group entered a new chapter of legend with a $1 million lawsuit in October 2025 involving merchandising disputes between Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube, adding a layer of real-world drama to their mythos. Exclusive arena shows announced for Summer 2026 further cement their status as rare, high-demand acts.[編集]

Per iFANN's editorial analysis, E-40's net worth is estimated at $10 Million as of 2026. The bulk of this wealth stems from his extensive music catalog, which includes over 30 studio albums and hundreds of guest appearances generating steady streaming and royalty income. His independent label Sick Wid It Records has served as a consistent revenue source since 1992, allowing him to maintain control over his master recordings. Touring and live performances contribute several million annually to his earnings, particularly through the high-profile arena and festival shows organized with Mount Westmore. Beyond music, his wine brand Mangoscato, launched in 2014, operates as a highly profitable side business selling over 100,000 cases per year. Additional income streams include endorsement deals and appearances in various film and television projects.[編集]
