Ruka has cultivated a devoted following that traces her journey from a regional Japanese idol to the veteran of YG Entertainment's latest girl group. Fans who have watched her since her days with Shibu3 Project or her early trainee years view her as a symbol of perseverance, often retelling the story of her decade-long career before finally debuting in 2024. This narrative of patience and dedication has created a core audience that deeply values her maturity and leadership within BABYMONSTER. While she is frequently called "unnie" by fans for her big-sister role, her fierce stage presence as a main dancer and rapper draws in viewers looking for high-energy hip-hop performances. The fanbase actively supports the group's rise as the successor to BLACKPINK, celebrating milestones like the rapid success of their debut album and major fashion campaigns with brands like adidas. Despite the intense hype surrounding the group, there is no officially recognized fandom name specifically designated for Ruka alone; her supporters operate under the general moniker for the group or simply identify as individual fans of her work. Her active engagement on social media platforms helps maintain this connection, allowing her to share glimpses of her life as the oldest member. As an iFANN evaluation conducted in August 2026 determined, Ruka is currently evaluated but does not hold a placement in the published rankings (Global Top 1,000 or a Top-100 scope list), meaning she is not currently ranked.[編集]

Ruka began dancing at age six, specializing in hip-hop, a foundation that led her to join the Japanese idol group Shibu3 Project before auditioning for YG Entertainment. Her audition song was "Top Off" by DJ Khaled, Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Future, showcasing her rap skills early on. She stands out visually with prominent dimples, a feature fans frequently mention in discussions about her charisma.

A central legend surrounding Ruka is her remarkable "10-year career" narrative. Before her official debut with BABYMONSTER, she spent over a decade performing in Japan and training under YG, making her the longest-trained member in the company's history. This story of endurance is widely retold by fans to highlight her unique position as a veteran despite being part of a rookie group.

Another iconic moment occurred in November 2024 when Ruka and her groupmates launched a collaboration between adidas and Moon Boot. Featured prominently in the campaign, this event marked a significant transition into high-fashion modeling alongside her music career. These moments, combined with her status as one of the first Japanese female idols to debut under YG alongside Asa, cement her legacy as a pioneering figure in the group.[編集]

As things stand in 2026, Ruka's net worth is estimated at around $500 Thousand per iFANN's editorial analysis. Her income primarily comes from BABYMONSTER group activities, including album sales, digital streaming, performance fees, and potential endorsement deals. Since she debuted only in 2024, her earnings are still growing. YG Entertainment typically handles revenue distribution, with artists receiving a share after company costs. No personal business ventures or real estate holdings have been publicly reported.[編集]
