San commands a distinct position within the fourth generation of K-pop, anchored by a fanbase known as ATINY that operates with remarkable strategic cohesion. This collective has demonstrated an ability to dominate digital algorithms, notably transforming specific choreographic elements into global viral phenomena. The execution of the chest pump dance move during the promotion of the song BAD in July 2026 serves as a primary example, where coordinated fan efforts propelled the routine across social platforms and international news outlets within days. Beyond digital metrics, San's influence extends into mainstream culture through high-profile fashion milestones, such as his appointment as a Global Ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana in October 2025, which solidified his status as a crossover icon capable of captivating diverse audiences ranging from sports crowds at Atlético Madrid events to luxury fashion circles. Fans frequently highlight his role as the emotional caretaker of the group, a narrative reinforced by personal interactions and transparent handling of public speculation regarding his personal life. While the group maintains a massive direct-to-fan presence, San specifically acts as a gateway figure for new listeners, drawing them into the broader ATEEZ universe through magnetic stage performances and visual storytelling. Despite this widespread recognition and organized support, iFANN's Global Fame Engine has evaluated San but does not currently hold him in a placement within the published rankings or scope lists; the fanbase has no formal name documented in iFANN data.[編集]

San is renowned for his intense facial expressions during performances, often refining these details by practicing in front of a mirror. He bears a tattoo of the phrase No Pain on his left forearm, symbolizing his resilience, and shares a close bond with fellow member Wooyoung. His personal interests include photography, through which he captures behind-the-scenes moments for the group, and he owns a pet cat named Byeol. A widely retold story among fans involves the chest pump dance move from the song BAD in July 2026, which became a verified cultural event when the fandom successfully drove the choreography to the top of global trending lists. Another legendary moment occurred on August 12, 2026, when San stole the spotlight at an Atlético Madrid debut event, reinforcing his reputation as a gateway idol capable of captivating non-K-pop audiences. These narratives contribute to his mythology as the magnetic center of the group, bridging idol culture with mainstream entertainment.[編集]
