Taesan commands a growing global footprint as the tallest and most versatile all-rounder of BoyNextDoor, drawing attention from K-pop enthusiasts worldwide who track his evolution from rookie to seasoned performer. Despite this rising profile, iFANN's Global Fame Engine has evaluated Taesan but currently finds he does not hold a placement in the published rankings for the Global Top 1,000 or any Top-100 scope list. This unranked status reflects a dynamic period where his fame is concentrated within dedicated fan circles rather than broad general audiences. The community rallying behind him is officially known as ONEDOOR, a name that signifies their role as the 'one' neighbor next door to the group. This fandom demonstrates remarkable digital organization, with members actively driving streaming metrics and engaging in direct, heartfelt interactions with Taesan during special milestones like his August 10th birthday celebrations. Fans frequently highlight his transparency regarding family life and his production contributions, creating a culture built on shared relatable stories rather than distant idol worship.[編集]

His stage name translates to "big mountain" in Korean, chosen specifically to symbolize stability and strength. Taesan trained under KOZ Entertainment for approximately two to three years before making his debut. He attended the School of Performing Arts Seoul (SOPA) prior to joining the industry. While the group has not assigned fixed positions, he functions as both a lead vocalist and lead dancer. Zico, the label head, stands out as a major musical influence on his artistic development. His personal hobbies include listening to music, practicing choreography, and spending quality time with his groupmates. He speaks Korean natively and maintains basic English proficiency. Groupmates consistently describe him as calm, hardworking, and detail-oriented. To date, he has not appeared on magazine covers individually nor received solo individual awards as of 2026.

Fans often refer to him as the "Giant Mountain," a nickname playing on his name and his imposing yet gentle stature of 182 cm. A beloved story in the group's lore involves his deep connection to his parents, revealed when he shared that lyrics in the album *HOME* were inspired by his father as his "first friend" and mother as his "first love." Another iconic moment occurred during a trip to Lollapalooza in Chicago, where exclusive camera rolls of the group went viral, showcasing their chemistry and cementing their international rise.[編集]

Taesan's individual net worth is not publicly disclosed. Per iFANN's editorial analysis, his estimated net worth is around $300,000 as of 2026. His income streams derive from group album sales, concert tours, brand endorsements, variety show appearances, and merchandise revenue. BoyNextDoor's albums have sold hundreds of thousands of copies, and their 2025 world tour generated significant financial returns. However, under KOZ Entertainment's standard trainee debt repayment model, Taesan likely began earning meaningful income only after the group's official debut.
